One could experience lower back pain due to any number of
reasons including muscle strains or spasms, ligament sprains as well as joint

acetaminophen, naproxen and ibuprofen that will all help in providing lower back
pain relief. To get best results, it is necessary to strike at the root cause
of the lower back pain and it may also mean losing weight, improving the
muscles as well as maintaining the right posture when sitting, standing as well
as sleeping.
Using prescription painkillers or muscle relaxants may often
provide adequate lower back pain relief but one should take care in not over
using such medications and they should only be used on doctor’s
recommendations. There is always the danger of side effects that result from
use of medications in getting lower back pain relief. A person on medication
for lower back pain relief could feel drowsy and they should not be taken when
driving or using heavy equipment. In case there are side effects such as
nausea, vomiting, rashes or dizziness, one should immediately stop taking the
medications and consult a healthcare professional.
